Join our dedicated Children's SP - MASH Team in Luton as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and families in our community. As part of a dynamic and supportive team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and collaborating with various agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Undertaking initial assessments and statutory reviews to determine the needs and risks to children and families. Working closely with multi-agency partners to coordinate and deliver effective support services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards. Providing direct support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.To be considered for this role, you must hold a relevant social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include strong communication and interpersonal abilities, a solid understanding of child protection legislation, and experience working within a multi-agency environment. You should demonstrate a commitment to professional development and a passion for improving outcomes for children and families.
