As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children with disabilities and their families.
- Developing and implementing tailored support plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to families, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local authority standards and legislation.
- Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the safeguarding of vulnerable children.
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with children with disabilities and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with children and families.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
