Join our dedicated Safeguarding Team in Leicestershire as a Qualified Social Worker, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our community. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of families and children, providing support and intervention in challenging circumstances. Your expertise will be vital in assessing risk, developing care plans, and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote the best outcomes for children.

As a Qualified Social Worker, your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks faced by children and families. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to strategy discussions to safeguard children. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them to access resources and services.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team and to manage a varied caseload.
