Join our dedicated Children's ASW - CLA Team in Devon, where you will play a vital role in supporting and safeguarding the well-being of children in care. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families, children, and multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for our young people. Your expertise will be crucial in promoting positive relationships and stability in the lives of vulnerable children.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and connected persons. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding procedures.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children in care or in a similar environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
