As a Qualified Social Worker in the UASC Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of unaccompanied asylum-seeking children.

  • Collaborating with multi-agency teams to deliver integrated support and services.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly with unaccompanied minors.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse communities.
