As a Qualified Social Worker in the Duty & Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and guidance to families in crisis, ensuring their immediate needs are met.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
