Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Preparing and presenting reports for court proceedings, ensuring all documentation meets legal standards. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals and law enforcement, to support families effectively. Implementing intervention plans and reviewing their effectiveness to ensure positive outcomes. Providing support and guidance to foster carers and adoptive parents.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Proven experience in child protection and court work within a social work setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and professionals.
