We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Duty & Assessment Team in the beautiful Fylde and Wyre area of Lancashire. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and families by providing high-quality assessments and interventions. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding vulnerable children and ensuring their well-being within the community.
As a Qualified Social Worker in the Duty & Assessment Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and risk evaluations for children and families. Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families in crisis, ensuring their immediate needs are met. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to case discussions.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with diverse families.
