We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Looked After Children Team in Islington. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality social work services to children and young people who are in care, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and creating care plans for looked after children
  • Working collaboratively with other professionals and agencies to support children's needs
  • Participating in case conferences, reviews, and court hearings as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a valid HCPC registration
  • Experience working within a Looked After Children Team or similar setting

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage complex cases
