We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Wrexham ATM Looked After Children team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support and intervention services to children and young people in care.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Undertaking assessments and developing care plans for looked after children
  • Providing direct support and advocacy for children and young people in care
  • Collaborating with other professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Participating in case conferences and reviews to monitor progress and make recommendations
  • Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant legislation and policies

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with current registration with Social Care Wales
  • Experience working with looked after children and young people in a social work setting
  • Strong assessment and case management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Additional requirements for this role include a valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
