We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Family Support Team in Wrexham, offering a competitive rate of £43.25 per hour. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to families in need, ensuring the well-being and safety of children while promoting positive family dynamics. You will work collaboratively with families, local authorities, and other agencies to deliver tailored interventions that foster healthy relationships and support family resilience.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of family needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective support plans in collaboration with families. Providing direct support and guidance to families, facilitating access to resources and services. Monitoring and reviewing progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes. Maintaining accurate and timely records in accordance with regulatory standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and working collaboratively with other professionals.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Care Wales. Proven experience in family support or child protection work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively. A commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated on best practices.
