We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's TM - MASH Team in Newham. In this role, you will play a crucial part in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people in the borough.

Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations into child protection concerns
  • Working collaboratively with partner agencies to ensure the best outcomes for children
  • Developing and implementing care plans for children in need of support
  • Participating in case conferences and court proceedings as required

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a relevant social work qualification
  • Registered with Social Work England
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role within Children's Services
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
