We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team in West Sussex. In this role, you will work collaboratively with individuals to promote their independence and enhance their quality of life through tailored therapeutic interventions. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing ongoing support to clients in various settings, including community health and rehabilitation centers.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' physical, emotional, and social needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their personal goals.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
  • Documenting client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educating clients and their families about therapeutic techniques and strategies to enhance daily living skills.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in adult occupational therapy, preferably in a community or rehabilitation setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a client-centered approach to care.
