Senior Practitioner - Adult Safeguarding- Bristol

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner for Adult Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in Bristol. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults, advocating for their rights, and promoting their independence. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and community organizations, to provide high-quality safeguarding services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of adults at risk, identifying their needs and safeguarding concerns.
  • Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with service users and their families.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to junior staff and colleagues on safeguarding issues.
  • Leading multi-agency meetings and case conferences to ensure effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Monitoring and reviewing safeguarding cases to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant social work qualification (e.g., DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Significant experience in adult safeguarding and social work practice.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies, including the Care Act 2014.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
