Senior Practitioner - Case Management - Hackney

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Practitioner in Case Management to join our dynamic team in Hackney. This pivotal role will involve overseeing complex cases, providing expert guidance to social work staff, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to children and families in need. You will play a crucial role in shaping practice standards and promoting the welfare of those we serve.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a caseload of complex cases and providing comprehensive assessments and interventions.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior social workers, offering support and professional development.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to case management.
  • Contributing to the development of policies and procedures that enhance service delivery.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Social Work Degree, DipSW, CQSW).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Extensive experience in case management within children and families services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and supervisory capabilities.
