As a Safeguarding Practitioner, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and investigations in response to safeguarding concerns.
  • Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement safeguarding plans.
  • Providing expert advice and support to individuals, families, and professionals regarding safeguarding policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all safeguarding activities and interventions.
  • Participating in training and development initiatives to enhance knowledge and skills in safeguarding practices.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult safeguarding, including knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in complex situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
