We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work - Mental Health Team in Shropshire. This role is vital in supporting adults with mental health challenges, ensuring they receive the care and assistance they need to lead fulfilling lives. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and community organizations, to deliver high-quality services tailored to individual needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs and developing effective care plans.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to individuals experiencing mental health difficulties.
  • Collaborating with medical professionals and community services to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly within a mental health setting.
  • Strong assessment, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
