Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and goals.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
  • Providing therapeutic interventions, including adaptive techniques and assistive devices.
  • Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers to ensure holistic care.
  • Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience in adult occupational therapy, preferably within community settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and their families.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices and a commitment to continuous professional development.
