Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Collaborating with partner agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
  • Providing expert advice and support to colleagues and stakeholders regarding safeguarding practices.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Participating in regular team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of MASH processes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA Hons in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Current Social Work England registration.
  • Significant experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multi-agency environment.
  • Proficient in case management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
