We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Social Work - Child Protection Team in Oxfordshire. This rewarding role involves working with children and families to ensure their safety and well-being, providing support and intervention in challenging situations. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in safeguarding vulnerable children and promoting positive outcomes for families in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Managing a caseload of children in need and those subject to child protection plans.
  • Working closely with partner agencies to coordinate support services.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Demonstrable experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent assessment and analytical skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
