We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding team in Devon. This pivotal role involves working collaboratively to safeguard vulnerable adults, ensuring their rights and well-being are prioritized. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in assessing risks, developing care plans, and implementing safeguarding measures to support individuals in our community.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals at risk, including identifying needs and potential safeguarding concerns. Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with service users, their families, and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to individuals and families to navigate complex situations and access necessary resources. Working closely with multi-agency teams to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in adult safeguarding and knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and families.
