Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments to identify the needs of children in care and their families. Developing and implementing care plans in partnership with children, families, and other professionals. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring their safety and well-being. Providing direct support and guidance to children and their families, promoting their emotional and social development. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with statutory requirements and agency policies.The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, MA Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and their families.
