Join our dedicated team at Achieving for Children as a Qualified Social Worker in the Children's SP - Duty and Assessment Team. We are looking for compassionate and skilled professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, ensuring their safety and well-being, and working collaboratively with other agencies to provide the necessary support.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and ongoing reviews of children and families. Developing and implementing child protection plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records, ensuring compliance with local and national policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of safeguarding strategies. Providing guidance and support to families to promote positive outcomes for children.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England or relevant regulatory body. Experience in children's social work, particularly in assessment and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
