Join our dedicated Children's Social Work - Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team in Oxfordshire, where your expertise can make a significant impact on the lives of children and their families. We are seeking a qualified social worker who is passionate about supporting children with disabilities and their families in navigating the challenges they face. In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, professionals, and community resources to ensure that children receive the support they need to thrive.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children with disabilities and their families to identify needs and develop tailored support plans. Providing ongoing support and intervention to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including health, education, and voluntary sector organizations, to promote the well-being of children. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with local authority policies and procedures. Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of social work.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registered with Social Work England. Experience working with children with disabilities and an understanding of relevant legislation and best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
