Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing safeguarding plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children and families, ensuring timely interventions are made.
  • Providing direct support and guidance to families to promote positive outcomes for children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational policies.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in child safeguarding and child protection work.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a complex caseload.
