Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs.
  • Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Managing a caseload effectively while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to provide holistic support.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

  • A relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in family support and safeguarding.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
