Join our dedicated Family Support and Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Qualified Social Worker (PERMChildren's SW). This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families within our community. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and addressing the needs of vulnerable children and their families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting positive outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify risks and support needs. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Managing a caseload effectively while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Working closely with schools, health services, and community organizations to provide holistic support. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess essential qualifications and skills, including:

A relevant social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children’s social work, particularly in family support and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and professionals. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Join our dedicated Family Support and Safeguarding Team in Cambridgeshire as a Qualified Social Worker (PERM). We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual who is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children and families in our community. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing and implementing effective care plans, and working collaboratively with various agencies to provide the best possible outcomes for those in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and reviewing care plans in partnership with families and other professionals. Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local authority policies. Participating in multi-agency meetings to collaborate on safeguarding concerns and interventions.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection, safeguarding, and family support. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare.
