Wolverhampton - Social Worker - MASH Team
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Wolverhampton. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for assessing risk, providing support, and ensuring the safety and well-being of those in need.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families in need of support.
- Collaborating with various agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding plans.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to partner agencies and stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in line with statutory requirements.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
