Are you a passionate and qualified social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Join our dedicated Children’s Social Work Assessment Team in Shropshire, where you will play a crucial role in safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We are seeking an experienced and committed individual to help us assess the needs of children and families, ensuring they receive the support and services they require.
As a key member of our Assessment Team, your responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing tailored intervention plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to ensure a holistic approach to child welfare. Providing support and guidance to families, promoting positive outcomes for children.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in children’s social work, particularly in assessments and safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
