Are you a dedicated and passionate social worker looking to make a difference in the lives of children in care? The Aylesbury Children in Care Team is seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and various stakeholders to ensure the safety, well-being, and positive development of our children in care.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting assessments and developing care plans that meet the unique needs of each child. Building trusting relationships with children and their families to promote stability and positive outcomes. Working closely with other professionals, including educators, health services, and local authorities to coordinate support services. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, ensuring that their needs are being met. Providing advice, support, and guidance to foster carers and adoptive families.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A degree in Social Work or equivalent qualification. Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
