As a member of the Court Team, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments of children's needs and risks, ensuring their welfare is prioritized. Preparing and presenting evidence in court, advocating for the best interests of children. Collaborating with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective care plans. Providing support and guidance to families, helping them navigate the complexities of the legal system. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with statutory requirements.To be successful in this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in child protection and court work, with a solid understanding of relevant legislation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
