Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? We are seeking a Qualified Social Worker to join our Children’s Assessment Team in Aylesbury. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
As a key member of our team, your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans to support vulnerable children. Working closely with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated approach to safeguarding. Maintaining accurate and timely case records in compliance with legislation and policy. Providing support and guidance to families to empower them in overcoming challenges.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working in a children’s social work setting, particularly in assessment. Strong knowledge of child protection legislation and safeguarding procedures.
