We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our team in Newcastle. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people within our community. As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing tailored intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to help them thrive. Your expertise will contribute to creating a nurturing environment that promotes positive outcomes for vulnerable children.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children, young people, and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.

Join our dedicated Children's Social Work team in Newcastle, focusing on Children in Care (CIC) and Care Leavers. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Qualified Social Worker who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable children and young people. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and multi-agency partners to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of those in your care.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks. Developing and implementing care plans that promote the best outcomes for children and young people.
