We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Social Worker to join our team in Newcastle. This role is pivotal in ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people within our community. As a Children's Social Worker, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, developing tailored intervention plans, and providing ongoing support to help them thrive. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks. Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support and guidance to children, young people, and their families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with legal and organizational standards. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to safeguarding strategies.To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work). Registration with Social Work England. Experience in children's social work, particularly in safeguarding and child protection. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
