We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adults Safeguarding team in Birmingham. This position is pivotal in ensuring the safety and well-being of vulnerable adults within our community. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with various stakeholders to assess risks, implement safeguarding plans, and advocate for the rights and needs of individuals. If you are passionate about making a difference and possess the necessary expertise, we would love to hear from you.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting assessments and investigations in accordance with safeguarding protocols. Developing and implementing safeguarding plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborating with healthcare providers, law enforcement, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation. Providing support and guidance to individuals and their families regarding safeguarding matters. Participating in multi-agency meetings to share insights and best practices.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience in adult safeguarding or related fields. Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
