We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Children's Social Work - CLA Team in Southend-on-Sea. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of children in care, ensuring their safety, and promoting their welfare and development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams to ensure the best outcomes for children.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  • Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.
  • Providing support and advice to foster carers and adoptive families.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A relevant Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory context.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
