The Vale of Glamorgan is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s PM - CSW Team professional to join our dynamic Qualified Social Work team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the lives of children and families within our community. You will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload, conducting assessments, and developing tailored support plans to ensure the well-being and safety of children in need.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families to determine their needs.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources.
  • Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to promote the best outcomes for children.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Care Wales.
  • Proven experience in children's social work, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and families.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
