As a Children’s Social Worker in our Safeguarding Team, you will play a crucial role in protecting vulnerable children and ensuring their safety and well-being. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
  • Providing ongoing support and intervention to children and families in crisis.
  • Working closely with schools, healthcare providers, and community organizations to coordinate services.
  • Documenting casework and maintaining accurate records in compliance with local policies.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in child protection and safeguarding.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
