Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Safeguarding Team in Sheffield, where your expertise will make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable children and their families. We are seeking a passionate and qualified Social Worker who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing needs, developing care plans, and working collaboratively with families and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families in need of support. Developing and implementing effective intervention plans that prioritize the safety and wellbeing of children. Maintaining accurate case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Building positive relationships with children, families, and external agencies to facilitate effective service delivery. Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized Social Work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in children's social work, specifically in safeguarding. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child safeguarding.
