Join our dedicated Children's Social Work Service in Rotherham as a Qualified Social Worker within the Children in Care (CIC) Team. We are seeking passionate individuals committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and their families. In this role, you will work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for children in care, providing them with the support they need to thrive.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough assessments and developing care plans that meet the individual needs of children in care. Building strong relationships with children, families, and foster carers to promote stability and well-being. Managing a caseload effectively, ensuring timely interventions and regular reviews of care plans. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to coordinate services and support for children and families. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with statutory and organizational requirements.To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and families, particularly in a statutory setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
