In this pivotal role, you will work collaboratively with families, providing essential support and guidance to promote their well-being and improve outcomes. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing needs, developing intervention plans, and ensuring that families receive the services they require.

Key responsibilities include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of families to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Developing and implementing tailored support plans in collaboration with families and other professionals. Providing direct support to families, including crisis intervention and advocacy. Monitoring progress and adjusting support strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with organizational policies and statutory requirements.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England. Proven experience in child protection and family support services. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with families and colleagues. Sound knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices.
