CSW - Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CSW - Social Worker - Assessment and Safeguarding to join our dynamic team in the Qualified Social Work field. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in assessing the needs of vulnerable individuals and families, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their rights and dignity. Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of individuals and families to identify their needs and risks.
- Developing and implementing tailored care plans in collaboration with clients and other professionals.
- Monitoring and reviewing cases to ensure the effectiveness of interventions and support services.
- Providing expert advice and support to clients, families, and other stakeholders regarding safeguarding issues.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, including health and education professionals, to promote integrated services.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
Essential qualifications and skills for this role include:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW).
- Registration with Social Work England or equivalent body.
- Experience in assessment and safeguarding practices within a social work context.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
