Are you a passionate and dedicated social worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people? The Leaving Care Team in Bolton is seeking a qualified Children's Social Worker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to young people transitioning from care to independence, ensuring they have the resources and skills necessary to thrive in their adult lives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Assessing the needs of young people leaving care and developing tailored support plans. Building trusting relationships with young people, providing emotional and practical support. Collaborating with various agencies and stakeholders to secure housing, education, and employment opportunities. Advocating for the rights and wishes of young people in care, ensuring their voices are heard. Regularly reviewing and updating care plans, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Current registration with Social Work England. Experience working with children and young people, particularly in a leaving care context. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with young people. Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in social work.
