We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Social Worker to join our Adult's Social Work team in Middlesbrough. This role is vital in supporting vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety, well-being, and access to essential services. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with individuals, families, and other professionals to assess needs, develop care plans, and facilitate the delivery of appropriate support.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments of adults in need of social care services.

  • Providing guidance and support to individuals navigating complex social systems.

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and organizational standards.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work or equivalent).
  • Registered with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in adult social work, particularly with vulnerable populations.
  • Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to develop tailored care plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to advocacy and empowerment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
