Manchester - Social Worker - Locality Team
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our Locality Team in Manchester. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with individuals and families, providing essential support and guidance to improve their well-being and social circumstances. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the needs of children, families, and vulnerable adults.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with service users and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and intervention to clients, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with local policies and statutory requirements.
- Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies to coordinate services and resources.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A recognized Social Work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Proven experience in a social work setting, preferably within a locality or community team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the capability to manage a varied caseload.
