In this role, you will work collaboratively with families, children, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of children's needs and risks.
  • Developing and implementing effective care plans in collaboration with families and other stakeholders.
  • Providing support and guidance to families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources and services.
  • Maintaining accurate and timely case records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures.
  • Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to child protection conferences.

The ideal candidate will possess the following essential qualifications and skills:

  • A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work).
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Experience in children's social work, particularly in child protection.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children and families.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to child welfare and protection.
