Enfield is seeking a dedicated and passionate Children’s Social Worker (CSW) to join our dynamic Qualified Social Work team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety, welfare, and development of children and young people within our community. As a Children’s Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with families, schools, and other agencies to provide support and interventions that promote positive outcomes for children.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting assessments and developing care plans to meet the needs of children and their families.
  • Managing a caseload of children in need, ensuring timely interventions and support.
  • Building strong relationships with children, families, and partner agencies to facilitate effective service delivery.
  • Participating in child protection conferences and court proceedings when necessary.

To be considered for this role, you must possess a recognized Social Work qualification (Degree or equivalent) and be registered with Social Work England. Essential skills include:

  • Strong assessment and analytical skills to identify the needs of children and families.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied caseload.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and best practices in children's social work.
