Your key responsibilities will include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective care plans for children in care. Building strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and foster carers. Collaborating with multi-agency teams to ensure the delivery of holistic support services. Monitoring and reviewing the progress of children in care, making necessary adjustments to care plans. Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and local policies.

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

A recognized social work qualification (e.g., BA/MA in Social Work, CQSW, DipSW). Registration with Social Work England. Demonstrable experience in children’s social work, particularly with children in care. Strong assessment and analytical skills with a commitment to safeguarding. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse groups.
