We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Team Manager to join our dynamic team in West Northampton, specializing in Qualified Social Work. In this pivotal role, you will support the Team Manager in overseeing the delivery of high-quality social work services, ensuring that the needs of children, families, and vulnerable adults are met effectively and compassionately. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in the management and supervision of social work staff, providing guidance and support to ensure best practices are followed. Contributing to the development and implementation of service plans and policies that enhance the quality of care. Conducting assessments and reviews to identify the needs of service users, ensuring that appropriate interventions are put in place. Collaborating with external agencies and stakeholders to promote effective multi-agency working. Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the team, providing feedback and training where necessary.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with Social Work England (SWE) or equivalent body. Experience in a social work setting, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and policies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with service users and colleagues.
