We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Social Worker (SSW) to join our Support & Safeguarding Team in Windsor. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community. As a Children’s SSW, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and young people, developing and implementing tailored support plans, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify risks and needs of children and families. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement effective intervention strategies. Providing direct support to children and their families, ensuring they have access to necessary resources. Maintaining accurate records and documentation in accordance with local policies and procedures. Participating in court proceedings and presenting evidence as required.To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
A recognized Social Work qualification (e.g., CQSW, DipSW, or equivalent). Registration with the relevant professional body (e.g., Social Work England). Demonstrated experience in child protection and safeguarding practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children and families.
