You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in foster care and adoption settings.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough assessments of children and families to identify needs and strengths.
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
- Providing ongoing support and guidance to foster and adoptive families.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and court proceedings as required.
To be considered for this position, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- A recognized social work qualification (e.g., Degree in Social Work, CQSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with the relevant social work regulatory body.
- Experience in child welfare, adoption, or foster care settings.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
